Singapore National Day at The Esplanade, Singapore, 2006
LEDARTIST was commissioned to display an art piece named “Cinq” at the entrance of The Esplanade – the national performing arts centre of Singapore - to celebrate Singapore’s 2006 National Day. 60 pcs of LED mood panels were installed at the entrance hall, with motion sensors tracking traffic movements at the entrance doors which were then translated into “Red” and “White” (i.e. colors of the national flag). Over 120,000 experienced this installation over the holiday weekend.
